Now that the pool is finished the guys are concentrating on the safety fence. It's been very dry lately and the ground is fairly hard. We had to smile at their 'hole-digging' tactics.
But it worked and the fence is taking shape.

We considered just using the orange 'decorative' fence that you see in the foreground but it brought back too many painful memories of snow fences back in NYS.
We haven't yet had our lesson on how to use all the equipment, including the heater so we had to rely on the sun to warm up the water for us. We were not disappointed as it reached 80 deg F and we took our first dip on Sunday afternoon.
Sunday was a perfectly glorious day with temperatures in the 80's and our friends, George & Brenda invited us out to take an evening picnic on the lake.
We finished up the day with one of God's beautiful sunsets.

I'm glad this is a side view and not a rear view... That guy needs a better belt! Pool looks nice though!
I did censor one of the pics before posting and decided not to post the one with the shirtless guy sitting on the hole digger. (he'd obviously taken his plumbing training VERY seriously.
