We had an awesome week in Florida with wonderful weather and wonderful friends. The boys went off to play a few rounds of golf whilst the ladies either lazed around the pool or went shopping. Much of our time was spent floating around the lazy river - sorry, no pictures at the pool - we didn't want to risk getting the camera wet.
When we arrived home on Thursday after our 12 hour drive we were delighted to find that Karen, Chris and the boys had already arrived. We spent most of our weekend playing at the lake. We have such wonderful friends down here and were offered the use of a pontoon boat from a very special couple. We are so grateful to them for their generosity.
Once Hayden got used to his life jacket he seemed to enjoy the ride.
We stopped off at a little island on the lake for a spot of swimming. Tristan did really well when he got used to the water. 
He also did very well at piloting the boat (under strict supervision of course)
Looks like the navigator is a bit lost!!
They made such a cute team.
Our little Island had a great beach for the boys to play on. Hayden loves to sample the sand at the beaches he visits. I'm not sure how much of this one he ate.
The older children (I think this is Karen & Shelley) had a great time tubing when we spent the day with Barry & Barb.
I think the victims here were Roy and Chris.
Meanwhile, back at the dock, Hayden prefers calmer and shallower waters.

After an exhausting hour of splashing in the kiddie pool there's nothing better than a relaxing swing.The next picture you're going to see shows a very tragic occurrence - The death of a trusty car that has taken Shelley on many a happy journey. It has been sick for some time but the last time it was admitted to the automobile Hospital we received the sad news that it's condition was terminal.
Shelley says her final goodbye to her car before it begins it's journey to the great car-port in the sky. She removes the WV badge from the trunk for a souvenir and retrieves her satellite radio for use in her next car. In the meantime she is driving an hour each way to work in our gas guzzling truck.
