Today the guys were hard at work removing the forms from the concrete and tidying up all the edges

and standing in the deep end - well 5ft - we decided not to have a diving bottom.
Tomorrow we're heading off to Florida for a week. Shelley will be home on Saturday and will be here in the evenings so she can keep us posted about how things are progressing. We are hoping to be able to use the pool over the Labor Day w/e when Karen, Chris and the boys come for a visit.

So, is 5 ft the deepest it will be? Need to get some life rings for when we come, play ones, not real life preservers!
yes it is. Half thr pool will be 3 feet deep with a safety rope to mark where ir starts to get deeper.
